I just looked at your website, very nicely done. When I look at a manufacturer or luthier website, the first thing I look for is pricing. If pricing is way outside my range, then I don't spend time needlessly drooling. There is no pricing on your website... for me personally, a turn off and a disqualifier. Just sayin'.

Maestro? I was expecting to see that cheapo POS Gibson budget line.

Hardly...! Gorgeous work. A lot of these custom builds with the bevels and the soundports all look real similar to me and they typically look very beautiful and well done...

....but these really appeal to me.

Hi everyone.

Thank you for your comments.

As for the price list, we do not post prices in our website for we trade in SGD and we feel that the conversion to other currencies might create confusion to the customers of our dealers outside Singapore. If you want to know the prices, you can just email us, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

To give you a hint on our price range, the Rosetta-M in this post retails SGD1799 (roughly USD 1,475).

I might be doing some recording next week. Will definitely post it here as soon as I have it.

Regards,

Raymond

Nice guitar Raymond !

I was wondering if you have some Malaysian Blackwood guitar for sale, it could be very interesting.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris,

wanted to pop in on this thread, as I noticed you were looking at Malaysian Blackwood Maestros, as it so happens, there are 2 Macassar Ebony custom shop Maestros available:

One is roughly an OM shape, the other an SJ shape, both with Adi tops. I helped to provide the back and sides wood as these 2 are part of the Guitarbench Magazine fundraiser.

I remember purchasing them as ebony locally (I'm in Singapore) and they looked more like Macassar to me, although some folks have commented these could be Malaysian Blackwood... in anycase, both are Ebonies, so you couldn't go far wrong, especially with the great work that Maestro does!

Some photos of the backs:

And of the detailing

You mentioned them as "available." Where can they be purchased? Would love to hear playing impressions from someone who has tried them. Thank!!
