Had this one for a few years and miles now..love to hear/see any other Joe Perry guitars that may be lurking here in acoustic world.

Love that classic rock! Ya did a great job of it!
I like the bassists Rickenbacker. I think of Chris Squire and Geddy Lee when I see that shape...

Wow, what a beauty!

I'm guessing that R9 is based on Perry's '59 that he traded/sold 40 years ago and lost track of it .... it ended up going through a few owners including Slash. Slash gave it back to Perry a few years back. Great story on guitar provenance.

Beautiful guitar! I have always loved that particular finish. Is that called "ice tea"? Wow! Congrats on that!

thanks gentlemen for the kind posts! I call it a tobacco burst, in the sun it appears more red than in 'real life'. Gibson prob has a different name all together for it
