If one can't be found, I'll do a sound clip for you of it unplugged.

Oh, I'll trust your assessment!

I don't want "plunky" coming through my mics!

One of the very first personal review videos was posted around a month after the Cordoba Stage's release by Youtuber Alex Rockwell. It's a surprisingly well done review, covering the Cordoba Stage features thoroughly. He demos the unplugged guitar 7 minutes into his review if you don't want to watch the entire video.

In my hands it's plunky sounding,

Thanks Rudy - I missed it because I was searching for Traditional models.

How many guitars do you have at this point?

I just got one myself. Ordered it through a local neighborhood shop so I could try it out first. I liked it. I brought it home. Quite happy. The shop was quite impressed with it as well and ordered a few for stock.

I noticed in an earlier post you indicated you didn't care for Cordoba's supplied strings. What do think of the ones they put on this one?
Savarez Alliance /Cantiga High Tension 510AJ
For me the tension might be a tad high although they sound and feel good when digging in. I do find the finger noise to be somewhat pronounced. Probably a good instrument to practice reducing finger squeaks with! Shows up my less than optimal technique.

It's a lively guitar for sure, especially in the basses. It can be quite bass heavy.
I have been playing primarily through a decent set of headphones via a NUX MP-2 so I hear everything. EQ'g the bass down a fair amount, I have gotten a lovely even tone out of it.

It is true as you have said that the tone and blend have a very subtle effect. Useable though. Luckily the inherent tone is good.

I ordered a set of LaBella 413P Studio with the polished basses. I will probably try these at some point.

Overall very happy with it and it is quite a beautiful instrument. I like the tuners, the wooden knobs are very nice, the setup was fine as is. The fingerboard feels a bit dry - I will oil it slightly with first string change.

I had used the LaBella 413P studio on my C12 and liked them a lot. Now on the C12 I have Savarez Alliance Cantiga 510AR. I will probably put those strings on the Stage as well at some point.
