Some updates for the class of 2010....Serial numbers 1301-1315 to my understanding:

And one of mine specifically....

Progress no doubt.

And while I am uploading pictures...look at how cute my baby Emily Grace is...

The newest girl in our family and the ultimate owner of Martin Claire's Guitar, a Brazilian beauty #71.

Hey CPA,
great progress, and the class of 2010 is looking really good. A few things I noticed or was wondering:
- Your 1301 back not only resembles ...., (needed to be careful not to get the post removed), but the back of the sides together with the end wedge really looks like a face. Awesome!
- Last year's class (Commando, BillyBoy etc) contained two colorful mates, a Pernambuco and a Pink Ivory. No pink this time. I guess the yellow is another pernambuco?
- You really should get someone like Craig Lanvin or Larry Robertson do an inlay on the fingerboard or headstock that looks like the flower on the head of your daughter

Enjoy the build

Karl

I have one better...the custom inlay I am doing is being done by the man himself....top secret inlay...I would have to kill you if I told you.

Keith,

Man, that looks like it's going to be a great looking guitar! And I love the photo of your daughter -- priceless!
