I'm going to leave this one off the list since it doesn't appear to be an interface.

Current stuff, simplifying a bit so that your list isn't too long.

Studio A: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd Gen and chained to that a Focusrite Clarett OctaPre for my microphones.

Studio B: (a tiny converted bedroom/home office): IK Multimedia AXE I/O (nice for DI guitar and bass with variable Z and a JFET option built in) and for mixing and mastering I run my monitors off an older Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 on a second computer which is also used for Zoom and the like, but not really recording as such)

I use a Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK to get into garage band and Ableton. Currently $499. I like it because it is also useful as a live mixer with multiple inputs.

I just bought a Universal Audio Apollo x4 that I have quickly fallen in love with. New price is $1,799.

I previously used a Focusrite 2i4.

I would suspect most of us here could make recordings in our bedrooms that are technically better than this. I mean in terms of sound quality.

As poorly recorded as this is, it's completely awesome.

Hi all

MOTU M2…I gave my Focusrite away.

The MOTU has a lower noise floor, and hotter output. Other features which drew me to it are physical On/off switch, individual switchable 48v Phantom, actual meters, USB-C output for computer connection, loopback of the M2's combined signal & the DAW output from the computer to the headphones, and dual balanced/unbalanced outputs.

I love that the USB-C can interface with my iPadPro simply by plugging in a USB-C cable. I have not explored all it's uses for that yet, but it's still a plus!

Crookwood conversion here (one stereo monitor DAC, one stereo analogue chain transfer DAC, one stereo analogue chain capture ADC), on AES connectors, connected to my PC via an RME HDSPe AES card. Built into my Crookwood mastering console. KM84 mics go into a Chandler TG2 pre that is also connected to the mastering console.

It's fairly stripped back:

And I just got a Lowden I had been saving over two years for a couple of weeks ago (F35 Madagascar Rosewood and Adirondack), so will put the KM84s to good use soon!

Nice. I do recognize the Chandlers, Thermionic Culture, and Dangerous, but the rest is literally foreign to me .... I also see a stylized statue of Zamfir

If he got two of them statues he could do stereo panning.
