USB Mic vs traditional + DAW
What's up friends?
For a "guy sitting with an acoustic in front of the PC recording video and audio simultaneously" where I can record some basic folk tunes on guitar, what is the preferred approach these days? A USB 'all in one' mic seems really easy like the cheapie FIFINE, doesn't it? Is that a solid pick for a <$100ish device to plop on my desktop and record some ol' folk tunes? Thoughts? |

Sure, something at that price point can sound okay if the space you're in does, too. To get a start at figuring out what that means, just walk around your house and record yourself talking into your phone in various rooms. Try it outside, too.
