Just ordered a Flamenco Loco guitar support from De Oro. I have a couple of the guitarrest quatros, but they are too wide for my Flamenco guitar.

My latest purchase was a Guitar cable with an on/off switch.
I use it for my gigs where I have 2 guitars. So far, I like it.

I' m a pedal junkie. The most recent pedal purchase was a Wampler Metaverse Delay.
Most recent small pedalboard has been a pedaltrain Nano Max, which is perfect, when I'm setting up a few pedals to use with my MX-88, for tracking. Easy on my back, and super handy to configure the two most basic effects I love using on keyboards (delay and reverb) For just playing/practicing, I'll just use the headphone jack on the ACS-1. For recording, I'll take the two line outs on that straight into my interface. The EQ-200 is an extremely versatile, easy to use EQ that works for a multitude of uses. Probably my favorite EQ pedal of the bunch (the others are a Source Audio EQ2, and a Wampler EQuator). Most recent amp/speaker emulation pedal is the Walrus ACS-1, which is usually mounted at the tail end of a smaller board, like this Classic Jr., for tracking guitar parts, since recording a live amp isn't really viable, in this small apartment. I"m kind of old school when iust comes to recording guitar parts. I prefer just printing the effects to the recording. If I hate the track, I just re-record. No plug-ins for me, yet. That's another rabbit hole I'll explore later lol. Also picked up a BNC lamp for my old 1604 The old one had an incandescent bulb, and it kept on burning out, or I'd burn my hand on it. This new on is an LED, runs way cooler, and works very nicely. Last edited by david57strat; 08-09-2022 at 10:56 PM. |

I’ve found this ‘String Stretcha’ very useful, just bought a second one. A couple stretches and the new strings stay in tune, no finger stress.

I bought D'Addario / Planet Waves clip on strap locks for the first time last week. I just wanted to try them out. Only $5.30 CAD.
I put the on a Les Paul and I'm surprised who much I like them. I need more playing time with them to make sure they'll hold up. I can't recall who but some people here on the AGF mentioned they were using them. Thank-you. |
