How interesting! I am a HUGE Oasis, and I play that song in a more traditional sense regularly. But I'm not sure I would have recognized it, given the finger style around the chords, as you say, plus the seemingly slower tempo. This song and "Let There Be Love" are my two favorite Oasis songs to play.
