I live pretty near you (SFV), and I've seen the warnings but the two Amazon Prime orders I've placed during lockdown have showed up on time. One a day early, actually. Those were appliance parts, though, guitar strings might be a different deal.

I've received strings from Strings and Beyond and Amazon within the last week. Strings and Beyond was definitely faster.
