New Maneli Jamal Demo of our Collapsible Carbon Travel Guitar
Hey Gang,
We're getting ready for a few new surprises this summer and have some cool new sponsored artist videos coming in. Here's a great new one from Maneli Jamal on the OF660 collapsible carbon fiber. This should give you a great idea of the tone and articulation of this model. Cheers! Rob (Was going to put this in the carbon section, but I felt this might be enjoyed by members who've been put off by carbon tone - until now. )

Talk about a guitar that sounds bigger than it looks.....
and the neck comes off for travel too. |

Maneli's technique, with thumb pick and long, chiseled nails certainly gets the most out of the Journey, as he will with any guitar. The OF660 does sound very good in his hands. As an intermediate barefinger player, I'd be interested to compare tone between a player like me, and Maneli.

Aousticado, after posting I also watched the Tony Polecastro / Acoustic Letter review video that popped up in the YouTube list afterward. The Journey guitar still sounded quite nice, but not quite as big and bold as in the original video. He plays a variety of flatpicking, strumming, and fingerpicking in his review. That should give you a pretty good idea of what the OF-660 is capable of.

That's an amazing feat, a guitar of that size with very nice tone.

True. Spend some time in the carbon fiber sub-forum. There are truly some incredible full and travel-size instruments being produced by CF builders, including nylons, doubleneck acoustics, harp guitars, representing traditional and cutting-edge designs and tones, all worthy of a place along side wood guitars.
