Default Taylor 322ce 12-Fret (2016, x-braced) **SOLD**

Okay, I’ve gone back and forth posting this, but I think this guitar just isn’t getting the playtime it deserves.

Taylor 322ce 12-Fret (2016)

This is the X braced version of the guitar. Zero nicks, dings or scratches on the body. The black pickguard shows swirling from fingernails, and I’m including a picture to show it (I tried to capture it as heavily/clearly as possible). The guitar plays and sounds awesome, with no issues. Fret wear is minimal. It’s been kept in its case when not in use, and gets humidified with the Boveda humidity packs.

Nut is 1-3/4 and scale length is 24-7/8

If you’ve played the v-class guitars, and comparing them to this, you’ll find that the v-class is much brighter and probably slightly more articulate. The x-braced 12-fretters have a warmer and, to my ear, fuller sound (with more bottom end relative to the v-class guitars). I’m assuming people are holding on to their Taylor x-braced 12-fret guitars (?), as I can’t find many listings on Reverb.

I have a 522e 12-fret guitar that I found with my kid’s exact birth date, so that one’s not going anywhere. But having two mahogany Taylor 12-frets is completely redundant. Otherwise, this one is maybe the more versatile guitar; it has the fundamental focus of mahogany, plus a bit of additional top end sparkle to it.

$$$$ shipped, includes the OHSC also in great condition.

I have a 2017 non cut away version of this wonderful X braced 12 fret gem. It is by far one of the best Taylors I have personally owned, and I owned my share (8) from a Big Baby through an 814 DLX. This is the one that is still with me and will be for the foreseeable future.
Tonally non Taylor, mellow….playability and comfort, all Taylor.
No affiliation with the seller, I just want to give a shout out for a great guitar at a very fair price.

Thanks for these comments. I agree that the mahogany Taylors have the most "non-Taylor" sound. I have had multiple other Taylors (spruce and cedar topped), and this really has more balanced and less treble-biased sound. But it also retains the typical Taylor-articulate string separation.

I'm happy to answer any questions, and have sold several guitars on the forum before. Will pack the guitar the way that I'd want to receive it.

I would also be happy to double box it, but that adds some to shipping -- so we can talk about that additional cost if you want me to do this.
