I think it's possible to understand the Fletcher Munson Curve and also disagree with the idea that a mix should be EQed to sound best when it's cranked up loud because "that's when people are paying attention."

I do like the idea of bringing my own monitor to place behind or beside me, and removing the guitar from the house stage monitor. Seems like basic anti feedback 101 right there.
