Congratulations -- an absolutely stunning piece of craftmanship. If that guitar sounds even half as good as it looks, it should be a lifetime keeper. If you have a chance to post sound clips at some point, that would be very cool...

Hey Phil, I actually haven't had a chance to play this yet. It's still at Joel's getting ready to ship this week. I'll post some sound clips when I've had a chance to play it a bit.
Thank you all for the wonderful comments, I too think is this sounds anywhere near what my Stehr SJ sounds like, it too will be a keeper. Time will tell.

Awe, geez, Joel, there you go again, setting the bar yet another notch higher! As usual, your superior craftsmanship and elegant, tasteful aesthetic design chops are on full display with this one. You just keep getting better and better. Slow down a little, will ya, and let the rest of us catch up! -Steve

A great guitar. The leaf theme is extremely nice. I am sure you'll like it. It's also great how Joel keeps a family of people who bought or are interested in his guitars.

Enjoy playing!

Love the way the stem connects the cutaway to the opposite shoulder!

Wow! What a stunningly lovely look. The design elements and craftsmanship are spot on. Very balanced and natural but also fresh and unique. A nice feast for the eyes. I look forward to hearing the report after you get your ears and hands on that baby as well!

Congratulations to both builder and lucky owner/player!

Best,
Jayne

Thanks, everyone! I hope Tom loves the guitar as much as I loved building it for him.
