These are of interest to me, as well! I recently gave my Fishman Loudbox Performer away to the local school district, and am looking for a small PA/acoustic amp combo both for at home and out, and battery power is a useful feature for me, so the Orange is most compelling at this point, but that's not a disqualifying factor.

The Blackstar doesn't sound great to me. Might be the guitar's pickup but it's really "nasal". Last edited by Kerbie; 01-18-2020 at 07:25 PM. Reason: Fixed video |

I actually thought it sounded excellent. And, the player was terrific. I would enjoy playing through that amp for sure. The controls looked simple.

But it's so easy to just plug any amp or speaker into a Jump start box or battery and convertor I'll probably go with a CP8 but these are interesting |

What about this new Harley Benton https://harleybenton.com/product/streetbox-60/
battery powered too... maybe too light compared to others? |

I agree, the amp sounds good. Lovely reverb, and nice overtone richness on the upper strings. I do hear a fair amount of piezo quack, which may be what necrome's hearing, but that's not the amp.
