Default Live Music Video "Rocketman" FIXED LINK

Thanks to forum member, and good friend, "Midwinter" for uploading this video he took of my duet rehearsing this Elton song for a summer concert. He did this with his iphone, sound and all.

https://youtu.be/ysrOCHT6oqU

We recorded all of our rehearsal (with the proper mics you see in the video not the iphone) and sold it as a CD for the show. We play the songs live just like we record them so people at the show can really bring home something that sounds like what they witnessed. We've done it two years in a row. One cover CD, and the other, my original songs.

That's terrific Dan!

I love watching you guys actually perform this! Great sound! And great job singing what I consider a difficult song! I like your interpretation of this great old Elton John song!

It's cool that you still have good falsetto capability with your voice.

Well done!

No, I have not, but I should. I have thought about doing "Your Song," but have just not gotten to it yet.

I’m just amazed at how good that sounded. And legit all just on my iPhone. That was a fun night.

Plus, I could listen to Ryan on the lap steel all night long. I don’t know how many times we’ve screwed up a song live because we were zoned out listening to him.

Love that song nice version, like the haunting slide git sound, is that like delay and verb or something else or more ?

Yeah Ryan had delay and reverb on his lapsteel. I think he built both pedals.
