Ha, good one.

That rosette is one of my very favorites of the ones that you do. Good balance of the abalone and the B/W.

I thought that bit dimension was off but didn't want to say anything.

Bracing on the brain. Somehow I knew that about you Bruce. That and peones!

Rosette is gorgeous. What is the wood sandwiched between the black in the outer rings?

An early east coast guess is curly maple...(The west coast will eventually have their coffee...)

The top is ready to receive the ribs/sides. German top/Adi braces. Jatoba bridge plate: the toughest wood I’ve ever encountered.

There ares several species involved in my go-bar deck. The dish is not one of them as it is one of the few things on the planet that Medium Density Partical-board is ideally suited for, IMO. Mostly, I don’t allow it in my home/shop environment. Adi braces again.

The Penngrove, a 2019 guitar, will emerge from hibernation (varnish curing) in about 3 weeks, and have strings a week or so after that.

Your point is well taken regarding the FT-0C JB/2 I'm currently spilling blood over (I'll clean it up).
