My four Govee sensors have been in the cases for three or four days. They all read within 1% RH and 1.5 degrees-C of the Oasis in-case hygrometers that are also in the cases temporarily as a check against the accuracy of the Govees. That makes them spot-on AFAIC, and I’m confident that a guitar wouldn’t notice those small differences either.

After all, what we’re talking about is keeping guitars comfortable, not conducting high-level scientific experiments under closely-controlled laboratory conditions.

The usual disclaimers apply......IMHO, YMMV etc.

The WiFi versions of these devices are now compatible with Alexa. Unfortunately you only get the temperature reading at this point. Hopefully they’ll upgrade to include RH soon. Still, it’s pretty cool to just say, “Alexa, what’s the temperature in my Collings case?” and get the info. Now not only do I not need to open the case to get a reading I don’t even need to check my iPhone. Ask and you will receive.

So far my only complaint about my three Govee’s is having to re-establish the Bluetooth connect and re-sync them if my phone or iPad have been out of Bluetooth range. It’s a minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience none the less.

Other than that, they’re great - accurate and convenient.

Weird. I’ve been using them for a couple of years and never had that issue.

Default Govee Hygrometer for cases

I just installed a govee mini in each of my 3 guitar cases. It was so easy to connect them bluetooth to the govee app. Way cool! I'm very pleased.

These are the ones I bought - $15 each. Slightly less if you buy the 2-Pack offering:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here it is attached to my case with velcro:

Yeah, the app tracks and stores data. I'm not sure for how long, although it has display options for an hour, day, week, month, and year. More than I'll ever need...

There's also a range view on the unit that shows variance high to low but I'm not sure if thats an hour by hour, day by day or what. I'll have to have a closer look. Mine will often change readings when opening and closing the cases.
