Thanks Doug!

I have to learn a bit more about reverb application

Very nice work. I like it.
A suggestion regarding reverb:
assuming the reverb is on a (SEND) FX track, try adding a low-cut (high pass) filter after the reverb, set to cut everything below 250 to 300 Hz. It will make the reverb less dark/spongy/boomy, unless that is exactly what you like on your reverb.

Thanks PM, I'm doing my mastering now in Audition, but in that DAW the eq for the bus track goes first.

I'll review that though, thanks.

Barry, you can simply stack (sequence) effects on the buss, and put EQ or anything else before, after, etc. Example:

This can be handy if you want to mess around. You could have 2 sequential reverbs, you could compress the signal before the reverb, you could chorus the reverb, on and on. Not saying any of these are good ideas :-) One thing I'm occasionally found useful is to add a declicker before the reverb. Clicks and pops are bad enough on the main track, but I don't want them zinging around in reverb, making it worse. A very aggressive click filter that would normally damage the signal probably won't be heard when placed ahead of the reverb on the reverb buss, and will solve that problem.

I don't generally need to do a lot of the pre-post EQ stuff on reverb, because most of the reverbs I use have their own adjustments like this, but it can be handy in some cases, depending on what you are looking for, what reverb you have, etc.

Thanks Doug. For my more recent recording (Heather Island) I used Audition for everything except trimming and noise reduction.
