I think so. I think I bought the M295 mikes the year after those recordings.

Anton loaned me his M300 pair two years ago when I made my last album, and I finally bought a pair myself recently and I really love them. I envision mostly using them as pair for guitar duo videos, but for solo guitar using a single m300 with a LDC has really been my thing of late.

Just listened to "Untitled Waltz" on youtube. Looks like you're using the M300 and C414 in a mid side configuration in this video. This is a fantastic capture of the guitar's voice, one of the best sounding recordings I've heard! May I ask what the signal chain was after the mics?

Wowza. I don't know about all that, but thank you. That was before I had the M300's. I think that's AKG 451 and a AKG 414XLS for the sides. The preamp/interface is the Apogee Element 46. I record into Logic. That's my untreated kitchen. If you listen close I think you can here the refrigerator, our chickens in the yard, and cars going by
