No, there's no animosity here.

Using a rubber soundhole feedback suppressor is also an excellent idea.

Do you get the same resonance playing the same C# on the ninth fret of the sixth string?

Thats what I was wondering - do you have the same problem with the same note, or same position, if you tune everything down a half step? Tune it up a half step? Capo’d? Might help determine what it is -
