Default Preparing the Pernambuco Bridge for Bridge Pins

First, here is a free advertisement for AST Titanium Bridge Pins.

This set has white Mother of Pearl dot inlays to match the vintage MOP fretboard inlays.

Reaming each hole for each pin.

Adding the string slots

Making it pretty.

Thanks, cigar fan! Yes, I'm quite excited to get this in my hands for the first time. Based on what Tim told me, he is extremely happy with how it turned out, maybe that's putting it mildly. Here is just a small segment of his comments--"This guitar is a MONSTER! Loud, fat trebles, substantial bass, extremely responsive with a wide dynamic range. It’s got it all..."
He went further than that, but I think that sums up his thoughts pretty well.
Hopefully I'll have some final pro photos to share soon!

If Tim McKnight is calling it a Monster, you can be sure it will ROAR!

Have fun with it, and be well!

The guitar is in the back of the wood room enjoying some private time with a ToneRite.

In a few days Tim and I will hear a difference which has never failed us. The ToneRite tells the guitar woods they are no longer to act as individual trees but it's time to become close friends to make music for the rest of their existence.

Long may they live.

Thank you, Paul! NGD is scheduled for Friday afternoon at Tim's workshop. I'll post a separate NGD in the General Discussion section shortly thereafter.
In the meantime, here are some final pictures:

Beautiful instrument Tim. I especially like the tasteful way you carried the black theme from the neck to the butt wedge. It really sets off the other wood in the instrument.

Well put Mary!!! Nicely poetic, and TRUE
I have put a Tone-Rite on each of my guitars for many years, and the younger they are the more it helps!
A few it has not made much difference, but some it has been quite dramatic.
Yay for this little bit of technology.
Lovely axe! Nice work, team...
