Just as a point of reference on Yamaha classicals. Generally there are two lines, the CG (classical guitar) and the GC (Grand Concert). The top model in the CG line is about $500 new. The top model in the GC line was about $12,000 (may be higher now). The CG line is made in Taiwan, the GC line is made in Japan and Taiwan. Currently the GC-32 and higher is make in Japan. The GC-12 and 22 in Taiwan. In the past some of the lower GC's were made in Taiwan the higher models in Japan. Rick
