Thanks!! I laughed out loud several times. Such wit. And the banjo lead was masterful.

That's three and a half minutes of my life I'll never get back. How do I get the tone of that voice out of my head?

That was fun! I was trying to place the studio, which looked familiar, and found out that Compass Sound Studios is the house organ of Compass Records, owned by Allison Brown and husband Gary West. Compass moved into the building that once housed Battery Studios and then Dreamhire/Zomba Enterprises. My company has done business with both Dreamhire and Zomba (through an intermediary). Believe it or not, as the home recording trend matures, some of the old studios are coming back as "mothership" and mixing operations, offering any service the home recordists can't provide themselves, such as a tuned mixing environment or a large room for an ensemble. New independent labels that are popping up, anchored by producers, are finding it more comfortable to own a studio where there is less clock pressure as well.

Thanks, I had several chuckles over that one.
I could definitely play a guitar solo over that as most of the time that's how I sound when performing live..just like that banjo.

Trey Hensley is a phenomenal guitar player who actually has a fantastic "country" voice. I#ve met him a couple of times - most recently (before my illness) was with Joe Walsh on mando. (no- not that one!)
I've met Missy Raines (bass) too - I used to attend annual bluegrass workshops here in the UK - don' go any more after I was changed to spend a week with Mike Compton but was too ill and they refused to refund.

That is reminiscent of some funny tunes made up around here where I grew up. Thanks for posting.

Funny thing is there are a lot of people who disregard great songs because they're too simple. I think I've even been through that phase. In fact I know I have. I have to constantly remind mysef that often, less is more. So great message there in an entertaining delivery.
