I‘m really not an Ovation fan boy, but this sounds good!

I’ll say it again. 2020 is the year of the acoustic IR. That demo sounds awesome!

I have never been an Ovation fan in terms of the unplugged tone. That would be enough for me to stay away but I am so happy to see them updating their pickup system. They dominated the plugged in/live market for so long but really hit some hard times. It's nice to see them making a bit of a comeback. I will say this though, that 12 string sounds amazing.

Love Ovations. I have a 1980 Legend that sounds great unplugged. Loudest acoustic I have and very comfortable to play...my flatpicking guitar.

It would be neat if they updated their mandolin with this system. I always felt it had a nice feel and sound for an amplified mandolin. The IR's would just make it about perfect.

I thought it sounded pretty good.
But it's an ad by ovation. Would love to hear it in a real world Live loud bar gig at volume. |

Interesting. I have a 1980s (I guess) Ovation whose tone I love--it's definitely different but in a controlled, not freaky way. I'd still play it except it's the early full-bowl design that's a little too awkward for me.
