I'll be on a stage designed to look like a porch!

I don’t have Facebook but I have a nice porch and several guitars to choose from. The problem is my wife DOES have Facebook and she’s away. If I go on Facebook and post me playing she’ll know that I haven’t been keeping up around the house while she’s gone!

Default Who is going to do "Play Music on the Porch Day" 8/31 ?

I am actually already participating! Grabbed my coffee and out the door ... bangin away and so far no law enforcement has arrived to “listen” ... a few folks driving by have slowed and tossed a quizzical look; a couple even smiled (windows closed, so I surmise they can’t hear me ... )
This is brave for me guys, I really have no business subjecting people to this cacophony, no matter how well-intentioned ... but hey, I’m doin’ it ... !

Moved to the backyard after a bit ... I thought it appropriate to play the 20+ year old Tak that got me playing again a very long abstinence ...

Love the idea and from my perspective, yes Everything "counts" ... Porch, driveway ... The video features a couple playing on a dead tree in the woods!

A marine layer is hovering over Orange County, which makes it a nice time to spend time on my porch, er back deck, to play my Preston Thompson.

Raining here in Oklahoma...so I did my thing under my covered porch. Still counts, right? Here’s what I posted to their FB page...
