Thanks - that's very useful to me. I just now measured my Collings CJ that has a stated 1.75" nut - string spacing of 1-15/32" at the nut, which kind of surprised me a bit, since I thought it'd be at around 1.5"+. My nice Breedlove has 1.75" with 1.5" spacing. Both do feel just fine to me.

Most 1.75" nut widths yields 1.5" string spacing, center-to-center. At least my Taylor's and Rainsong's (original neck) do. I've not had a reason to measure the Emeralds, Blackbird, or CA Cargo, as they all feel and play wonderfully.
