I don’t know, mine are all pretty loud. I like that in a guitar. My Circa OM-18 may be the loudest though. The combination of Adirondack spruce and mahogany yields a very mid-present, punchy sound.

My loudest is a K. Yairi Conquistador classical I got in about 1978. It's a red cedar top over Braz, and is as loud as a bell. It definitely fills a room! I still own it.

At first you might think these 2 guitars are about normal for volume but what they both have in common is the way they react when you dig in.

Neither of them will break up, they just can't be overpowered, they will punch back.

My loudest is a 1938 Kalamazoo KG-11. I forget just how loud it is until I pick it up again then it just blows me away.

My Kramer Prairie Grass - Adi/Bois de Rose is the loudest guitar that I own. Very balanced and full. That said, my cocobolo Wingert E and mahogany Kramer, both with German spruce tops, project well with a lighter touch. Volume has never been an important consideration since I don’t play much bluegrass or jam a lot with others.
Best,
Jayne

My Collings 001 14 Fret is a cannon and is extremely loud for a 00 and is louder than my buddy's Martin D-41. I am not sure how this is possible?

I would add that the sound itself is incredible. Jua an amazing instrument.

I think the loudest I’ve played is maybe a waterloo jumbo king.
I have a Martin Grand J-35 that’s a cannon, and a Gibson J-29 that is also pretty powerful.

My Lowden 0-32 is pretty **** loud. I can usually out volume most dreads easily. But the other day I played a Huss and Dalton Honduran rosewood and red spruce topped guitar that was by far the loudest guitar I have ever played, and not just loud…it sounded amazing. If I was in the market for a dread I would have sold someone’s child to buy it. When people say “it’s a cannon”… this was the Gustav rail gun of guitars. Also, for the loudest for effort category … A recently played Collings 0001 with a Sitka top just wouldn’t shut up. Even with the lightest touch it was plane old loud. Would have been a boon for those light players that have a hard time getting volume out of their playing. I almost bought it but someone beat me to it.

I’m not sure it matters, but my Froggy Bottom M, which is not a large guitar, has unrivaled power and headroom for my collection.

My D-18, but it needs to be pushed to get loud and I don't play jams or in situations where it needs to be loud.

I also did some recording with my SWOMGT , and strumming it is very loud and dread-like. Very big, clean sound for a small guitar!
