Default Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze - Fingerstyle Guitar Cover

Here's a fingerstyle guitar version of "Purple Haze" by Jimi Hendrix that I had some fun with. Played on my Gibson J35 CE.

When I saw the thread title, I was wondering "how's he gonna pull this one off" but pull it off you did. I thought the whole thing was well conceived, but the little pauses and "scuse me, while I kiss the sky" parts done as part of the finger style is borderline brilliant. Even took it out into the jam after running through the verses.

Really cool! I'm just a beginning finger style player so stuff like this isn't even in my dreams at this point, but it's inspiration for sure...

Reminds me of something Hayseed Dixie would perform!

Cool! I have played this a lot on electric (in my much younger, rockin days) but I have never done it on acoustic. You sure pulled it off!
