National Style 1 Tricones

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking at resonator guitars and finding myself bewildered by the range of models that National has put out in recent years. Can anyone shed light on Style 1 Tricones as compared to their other metal-bodied tricone models of the last couple years? I can see some of the differences in design from their website, but am not sure how that translates into pros/cons for playing. There aren't any shops near me that carry anything other than Regal and Gretsch, so I also can't get my hands on actual guitars to see.
