"Four Seasons' Concert on John Monteleone's Guitars at the Metropolitan Museum
Hi, folks,
I thought that some of you who inhabit the Custom Shop might enjoy my review of yesterday's concert at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. An adjunct to the current (fabulous) Guitar Heroes exhibit, the Museum yesterday hosted the world premier of a piece of music written for John Monteleone's Four Seasons guitars, which serve as a centerpiece to the exhibit. My review is here, on my Fretboard Journal blog. |

It would indeed have been an honor to have attended such a wedding of the visual arts and the musical arts. Your review, John, has given us a tantalizing glimpse, but this is one DVD that I look forward to watching. Thanks for sharing this event, and these four great guitars, with us!

Thanks for the kind words, gents! John's work really is extraordinary and those four guitars verge on the magical. I'll be doing a longer, in-print article about the guitars, guitarists, and composition, but I wanted to share my impressions of the concert.
Thanks, again. |
