Default Larrivee SD-50

I have for sale a standard spec Larrivee SD-50 in excellent condition with only a couple of slight dents in the soundboard finish. Nut width slightly over 1 7/8". Dual Source electronics which I assume is their standard electronic package.
Larrivee case in good condition. I'm selling it as this guitar doesn't get any play since I got my Gibson Custom Shop Hummingbird with a 1 7/8" nut width.
Price: $1550.00 plus 50% of shipping and PayPal fees.
Feel free to make an offer. You can contact me by private message if you like.

These Larrivee SDs are nice instruments. However, the shot you provided of the back is not a slope D, but a traditional dread. Thought you'd want to know. GLWS

Thanks Transylvania, I had posted the wrong picture of the back, the original pic posted was of my Gibson that I also have for sale. I have corrected and posted the correct pic.

Hi, I'm an "original" 12 fret dread fan, and a few years ago, I was given an SD-50 in compensation for a failed Huss & Dalton.

I had my Collings DS guitars already, but the SD50 (TSB - Total Sun Burst) was a beautiful instrument in every way, tonally and in presentation, and for the life of me, I can't understand why the Larrivee Traditional series aren't rated along with Collings, Bourgeois, and Martin etc.

I only video'd one song using my Larrivee:

I also used it in a bluegrass band and live quite a bit.
A friend of mine needed a new guitar quickly after an accident with his, and so I made it available to him and he's kept it and loves it to bits.

These guitars are excellent, and, like fast Jimmy's one - excellent value!

Thanks for the testimonial and video. They are a somewhat unknown factor in the marketplace, which is a shame because they really are nice guitars.
If I could play as good as you, I'd have posted a video of my guitar being played.

Thread hijack, but hey, it's a bump.

Moustache man, that is definitely an interesting take on that Mickey Newbury tune. I do it closer to the original, but never get the darned phrasing right!
Great interpretation.

Jimmy, where are you/the guitar located?

Sorry, but I'm not interested in trades. I'm trying to reduce my collection.
