I'm with the beer washer opinion.... But the only beer I actually like is Blue Moon (and totally off my diet for at least the next year as is all alcohol).

The Fender/Grolsch type strap locks work great. Takes all of about 5 seconds to install after you put the strap on your guitar. When I take the strap off I'll store the strap lock on the knob itself until next time.

Agreed! I don't know why some brewers insist on using green bottles, the cause of skunkiness.

As to the OP, I've used the Tapastring for 5 years and it's a secure solution. My only minor issue is the black-dyed leather slightly stains the white joint strip around the end pin jack on my HD-28.
