Default Rodrigo Y Gabriella Yamaha guitars

Anyone play the ntx1200r, which I believe is the Rodrigo yamaha?

http://usa.yamaha.com/products/music...0r/?mode=model

I thought those two played hand made irish guitars.

Default Rodrigo y Gabriella guitars

Rodrigo y Gabriella at one point played Frank Tate guitars from Ireland. They now play their yamaha series. Personally I think it depends on what you want from a guitar. I tend to like a deeper, dryer sound than their yamaha's get. However, i am more classically based than they are. I have a friend that has the NCX 1200 and he really loves it. He's much more flamenco. I will say that I believe their are more organic sounding guitars for the money of the 1200 series. But that's just my opinion. The yamahas are well built though and are tough guitars. They hold up where construction is concerned.
