Default Medium Monels: Tony Rice's or Lawrence Juber's?

Any impressions or opinions?

I've been using the LJ's on my D-18 and they seem perfect to me.

I’ve used both Tony Rice and Laurence Jubers very regularly on my D-18 and i don’t think you can go wrong either way. They both sound excellent.

The Jubers tend to sound more balanced on a D size guitar. The Rice's maintain the bass dominant sound.

Definitely the Jubers. The Rice's B string is too thin for mediums.

I use the Tony Rice Monels on my J-45 as the gauge is closest to my preference.

True mediums .. Traditional Medium 13-17-26-35-45-56 .not the Juber or Tony sizes All are good on my acoustics, but my ears like the mediums the best.

Jubers are a perfect match for my D-15S and Avalon cedar/EIR mini-jumbo - I use MM13's (traditional mediums) on everything else...
