I have previously owned three thin neck, short scale, X20's. I enjoyed playing them, but I did not like their tone compared to a standard neck and scale X20. There is a difference, and I don't own them anymore. They are not as bright or 3D sounding. Flatter and duller is how I would describe them. I really wanted them to work, but after three tries, I gave up.
