Default Spire studio

Just a heads up. Huge drop in price of Spire studio here in UK. A third off last week's price.
Maybe there's a new model in the wings?
Anyway, I couldn't resist at the new price and should get mine on Monday.

It's on sale here too. I just looked and it is $60 off. I wish now had waited, but oh well.

It might be a new model coming, but I got mine for about this same price they're selling it for now just about exactly a year ago, so maybe it's just a holiday season thing. I don't think I'd buy a new one unless it had some capability for a punch in / punch out footswitch. That's about all if feels like it's lacking to me.

Mine arrived today. First impressions very good. Had a basic three track test downi very quickly. Loaded it into my digital studio software for a tweak ( I had recorded the tracks with no effects).
I'm very pleased.

It's a very cool little recording device! I only use it for sharing ideas with co-writers, etc. but it's definately capable of much more.
