Breedlove Passport N200
Anyone played one of these yet?:
http://breedlovemusic.com/index.php?...ort&Itemid=259 I'm looking for a replacement for my nylon strung dread that I use for folk strumming and picking. I notice it has a narrower neck than most crossovers have, 1 3/4" rather the 1 7/8", but it sure seems affordable. I really don't mind the nut width on my nylon dread which is also 1 3/4" but the bracing on that is heavier and I see that they are using a fan bracing on the Breedlove. No dealers around me (closest is over an hour away but I called and they don't have these in stock) so it would need to be a mail order. I would like to hear from others that may have tried them... Thanks. |

I like Breedloves, but I would be careful of a nylon string guitar with a 1 3/4 inch neck. The nylon strings will move more under your fingers than a steel string. Fingering cleanly will be more difficult.
If you've lived with the narrower neck size before, then you may be comfortable with that. Jack
