Foot stools and sitting position
I am new to the classical sitting position. I, of course am putting my guitar on my left thigh now and am using an adjustable foot stool in the 4th slot. I have some issues with the guitar sliding away from me. My left leg is level to the floor. Do you have a set up like this or do you raise the leg even highr than level? Do you have any tips to prevent the guitar from sliding toward my knee?

It might be helpful to learn more broadly about classical guitar sitting position/posture. This video might be a good place to start.

Higher is better. I also always draped a small, square leather chamois on my left leg which kept the guitar in place.
