It is based on a true story, and McQueen's character was from my neck of the woods in southeastern North Carolina (I realize that Bill Ash from Canada as above was one of the amalgam of characters used for the Cooler King) So, since I had the avatar, I figured I'd go with the name change too since I was also simultaneously trying to reduce my actual name presence on the interwebs. I'm not worried about you guys knowing my name, but the webMD and vitals.com etc have details of my professional life that freak me out.
