Not to hurt your feelings but John pretty much played anything with strings - a few that i known of are : Ovation , Guild , Yamaha , Greven , Mossman , Gibson ( and Taylor of course ) etc.
I have not seen any of him with a Martin ( in any picture ive seen ) but that doesnt mean he hasn't. .

I remember the Guilds , which is why I always wanted a D-55, which I now have, and this guitar, which I never knew what it was,
