I don't keep coins in my pockets either.

You've never tried guitars out in a store? Or sat in with some performer (if they request it)? I've done plenty of both and don't want to deal with the shape/feel of someone else's pick when I do sit down with a strange guitar.

I believe you! We use to use a nickel back in my heavy metal days, in the 80's, you know...big hair and spandex. Lol..

But seriously, I have one of those cheap complimentary red ones from Guitar Center, Ha!!

I use the .73 with my Sigma OO. Anything heavier doesn't do the guitar justice; the .73 reveals much sparkle
My usual picks are Ultex .90 and 1.00 for my dreads.

Dunlop prime tone - I think it's probably 1.3mm - but the writing's worn off.

But I found two BC's in my dryer when I took it apart last summer. 2 hours of hardware removing... Talk about lint.

I usually have a Dunlop nylon .60, but for some reason right now I have a pick that came with a guitar I bought that says, "My Pick is Clark Music." Any one know where it came from?

I always carry at least 1 Graph Tech TUSQ ST 1.00 regular, it's the yellow one, a Beatles Heavy,(endorsed by Apple Corps LTD a Beatles tm product) I think it's a 1.0 with Ringo's picture on one side, and a Tortex Dunlop USA 0.73 mm
yellow !!! LOL great question !!

I don't tend to buy guitars from stores much now but the last time I did I took a Princess Mary box with appropriate picks, capo, and tuner.

I've never sat in with someone else without having one of my guitars to hand.

In my wallet are a Tortex orange .60 a Dunlop Primetone .96 and a Dunlop Ultex .88. I could get by with the Ultex for everything but variety is good.

Andy, you're clearly a methodical, highly organized person. But not all of us are, and I, for one, tend to wing it. Having a pick in my pocket is easy, particularly in those jeans watch pockets.

The only thing that's usually in my pocket is my Kershaw Cryo 2 folding knive.

I rarely use picks...

But when I do, it's usually a Big Stubby.
