Default Guitar 'family' pic thread!

Per a suggestion later on in this thread, I am updating with some more "color" around each guitar: L to R

Collings OM1JLA - A purchase made with my mom (need I say more?). Needless to say, this guitar has huge emotional attachment for me - whenever I play it, my mom lights up - the smile on her face is priceless. It is strung with Martin Flex Cores and it is a great pairing to my ear. I play finger style and strum on this guitar. It takes both really well. The neck profile is perfect for me...if every guitar could only come shaped like this one. :-)

Collings OM2HG - This is my OM that thinks it is a dread - no kidding. It is loud, has a huge low end, and just a ton of tonal range. It too, does everything well, but I am not choosing it to play quietly, when the rest of the house is still asleep. It is strung with Santa Cruz low tension strings.

Martin OM28 - Per a recent thread, this guitar just feels like "home" - Considering the price of it compared to my others, I feel like I am "getting away with something." It is currently strung with Elixir 80/20s and it is just warm, with great overtones, and scratches my Martin itch.

**It is worth noting that generally speaking, I tend to choose what I consider to be "versatile" guitars, with a lot of musicality to them. These three have me well-covered.

Updated to reflect my reasons for having these guitars as requested in post 28. There is no master plan. Over time I just tried different guitars, different woods, different sizes by different builders and some stuck. Eventually I landed with this collection. The current sizes range from 00 - small jumbo & 0000. I don’t consider any of them “specialists”. They all have fairly different qualities and I just like them all. I’m simply drawn to variety.

There is only one change. The H&D Crossroads in the lower left corner (above) was replaced by this one.

The small jumbo 'kit' guitar front center was donated to the local High School.
Replaced it with my Huss & Dalton on left below.

What is the model in the middle? Looks like a J200 body but with Mahogany?
And tell me about its sound?
You have a nice family!

Exactly what it is, its a 1941ri SJ100, its quite a bit louder than a maple SJ, very ballanced too with good low end. An exellent strummer and flatpicker. Thank you!

Edited with elaboration per request:

'12 Martin OM-28 Custom Shop-this is my oldest purchase. I bought it as a do-all guitar, flat picking and finger picking. Strung with Martin SP phosphor bronze medium light gauge strings.
'14 Martin HD-28-I got re-bit by the dread bug in 2014 and this is the king of flat pickers for me. Strung with Martin Lifespan SP phosphor bronze medium gauge strings.
'16 Halcyon NL-00 (TLutz/EIR #144)-I had played a Santa Cruz Model H which really impressed me as a finger picker. My chosen specs were an attempt to recreate the Model H. Martin SP phosphor bronze light gauge strings
'07 Gibson J-45 '68 reissue-After being a predominantly rosewood guy, I recently learned to appreciate the tonalities of mahogany. This is a really great do-all guitar. It finger picks well, although not as well as my smaller guitars and has a nice strumming sound, although with not as much low end and richness as my HD-28. Strung with Martin Retro Monel Tony Rice (medium gauge) strings.
'18 Martin 000-18-Another addition of a mahogany guitar which is now my favorite finger picker. Strung with Martin Retro Monel light gauge strings.

Each of my guitars excel at something that the others don't and have their own unique tone, all of which I am fond of.

Here's most of mine:

I haven't had the chance to take a pic of the whole family together, so here's the latest edition:

I think it would be neat to continue this idea with a new thread, Re-posting the pictures= But this time adding:
***Reasons you have Each guitar?
This guitar works for this style of music:
+Fingerstyle,
+Soft strumming or Heavy strumming,
+Alternate tunings,
+When I want the low end to stand out or when I want the high end to stand out
+Rosewood works best with voice or Mahogany works best with voice
+ Couch guitar Or Travel guitar Or Beater for beach
+ Keep this guitar for sentimental reasons
+ other Reasons?
*** Percentages you play each guitar? Examples:
+ I play this guitar 80% of the time because it has the best overall sound for my needs.
*** Brand of Strings used on each guitar? I assume that you use different brands of strings, and even different gauges on each of your guitars? And maybe add why you choose that brand of string for that particular guitar?
Example might be...I use this brand of string for this guitar because it brings out the High end, or low end more. The guitar has a Mellower side to it and I need to brighten it. Or just the opposite, Guitar is brighter and I use these strings to mellow it out.

Contributors to this thread can simply go back and edit with updated comments if they would like to address your comments. That seems easier than reposting all the pictures.

Four of mine...on the cover of my CD. From left to right: '12 Crosby Baritone Multiscale, '10 Lowden O23c, '17 Asturias GS Custom Model 'H' and '89 Larrivée J-09.

All are in DADGAD intervals (bass is Bb for the fan-fret baritone, C for the Larrivée and D for the Lowden and Asturias) and if you look closely you can see that I play with partial capos over those intervals. The Asturias is strung with Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze mixed gauge set (expensive but worth it) to moderate the mid-range/treble of this guitar, the rest are strung with D'Addario EXP phosphor bronze "sets" to suit tuning/scale length, all in "true medium" type sets to balance the string tension as much as possible.
