TCH Play Acoustic with Reaper issues.
Not that this is a major issue but I am curious to see if others have encountered this and if fixes are out there..
When recording from my Play Acoustic (PA) direct into Reaper (via USB), I can only record and cannot playback thru the PA (and on to QSC speakers). It records all right but if I select the PA for playback in Reaper, the PA goes haywire and all the lit buttons flash wildly and no playback happens. I have to select my studio monitors in Reaper and then playback thru them. It does not do that in Audacity and will record and playback thru the P.A. And, Reaper will record and playback just fine if I use my mixer as the interface instead of the PA. Any idea how to fix this issue? Thanks |

How do you have things wired up? is your PA connected via the computer's audio outputs? If so, that means you're using the computer's soundcard as your output device and the bit rate of it might not match the bitrate of your project.
Generally, with a Windows PC, you want to only use one USB audio device (so your input and output devices are the same, your speakers/monitors/PA are hooked up to the device, not to the computer's soundcard audio outputs or to a different audio interface.)

The PA is connected via USB. And as mentioned, it all works with Audacity but not Reaper.
