Default Sling Shots - really good ones

I've got the hankering to get me a really good quality sling shot.

Any recommendations?

I bought one of the original “Wrist Rocket” jobs many years ago.... Quite impressive.
This design is still superior, IMO...Takes all the strain off your wrist and allows a heavier set of rubbers to be used.
There is a “slingshot forum” I used to visit regularly, but as I recall they seemed to favor the more traditional type.

The disadvantage of the wrist rocket was that it was unweildy to carry around, being all solid. I currently have a Daisy-marketed number that folds up.... Easier to carry around.

Cool forum! I still have my wrist rockets from 50 years ago. I'm more into air rifles these days though.

Cabelas have a few. If one is close by stop in and look at a few . They are on the perimeter of the fire arms area. I bought a beaut from there.

Wow. Flashbacks to being a kid with a wrist rocket and .25 caliber pellets. Lots of fun!

Some guy recently came out with one that shoots arrows. Looks like a ton of fun.

Some crazy stuff from Germany, mainly based on slingshot and crossbow technology:
