I don't know much about recording, but have found that my H4N is easy enough for me to do what I wanted it to do. I haven't needed all of its features, but the ones I've used seemed to work well without a lot of fuss. I'm still amazed at its capabilities. I've had two or three friends to get one after seeing mine.

I appreciate that link, wcap. I look forward to exploring it.

Thanks for the replies and the link. I just need to spend a couple evenings and work through the features. I'm sure it will be great once I'm used to it - it's just a little intimidating at first, that's all.
