I'd like to answer "the one I am playing at the moment". All suit me very well. But the baritone is the one that shakes me once in a while... maybe because i play it less?

Good question.
I haven't played or heard a guitar I like better than my 1935 D28. I'd post a picture if I knew how. Last edited by Northern Pike; 07-12-2020 at 01:10 PM. Reason: Can't post a photo |

My Lowden F32, a glorious sounding instrument.
I still write songs on my Martin 00015m out of superstition though. It's my lucky guitar I guess, I have written fifty odd songs on the Martin and only two on the Lowden. It's possibly because the sound isn't as good as the Lowden so I can focus more on lyrics rather than getting carried away with the tone of the guitar. |

Guild D 40c built in 1979, sounds best, for a steel string. The guitar that sounds best to me, overall, is my Steven Walter classical, built in 2010.

Martin 00-17 Authentic 1931. But my CEO-7 is very close.

2015 Martin D-18.
Not only is it the best sounding, it’s also the best playing.

Probably my Bob Thompson OM.
Slightly larger than a Martin OM. Brazilian back/sides and Englemann top. Sounds very rich and still has bite when you dig in with a pick. |
