Nope, once you’ve sold it you’re done. Too many variables to watch over previously owned guitars.

You should mind your own business. When in doubt, it's often the best path.

"Oh hello. That guy you are about to marry- well I used to be married to him"

"Oh?"

"Yes. I didn't like him. He's a dog."

"Oh. But I like him."

"I didn't"

"Why not?"

"He's a dog."

"Yes. You said that. But why is he a dog?"

"He doesn't play nice"

"I think he plays nice"

"I didn't"

"So, you called to tell me not to marry him?"

"That's right. I wanted you to know that in my opinion you shouldn't marry him"

"In my opinion, I should"

"My opinion is more valid than yours"

"Why?"

"Because I've lived with him. Got to really know him. You've only spent a few minutes with him. I think you will regret marrying him"

"Like you did?"

"Yes, like I did"

"Thanks for calling"

Health issues have changed my abilities to play those guitars. So, I have sold those that didn't work for me and purchased smaller guitars. I miss those I have sold. But if the just sit...
You nailed it Paddy.

OP, you don't owe anyone an opinion on a guitar you no longer own. They take the chance when they buy un-played and after enough disappointment they'll figure things out.

I would never, ever, buy an acoustic guitar un-played. I did that a few times and didn't get duds (Goodall doesn't make any) but they weren't keepers.

Since I won't do that again, I'll never get another "non-keeper".

I'd suggest the same approach if anyone wants to avoid duds.

One man's Dud is another man's treasure.

Last guitar I sold was extremely clear and articulate - a complete dog IMHO.

Guy who bought it loves it, for exactly those properties.
