Default Help with info on this guitar!

I bought this guitar after seeing and playing it. It sounds and plays great! its all solid wood and seems very well made. The problem is, I can't find any info about it.

The headstock says Black Forest. Inside is a paper label that says Black Forest and made in USA in Acworth, GA. There is also handwriting with a sharpie inside that says "Jeff Godwin" and "8/28/99." Anyone know anything at all about Black Forest or Jeff Godwin? I've googled but came up with nothing.

Btw, the pickguard is covered in real snakeskin lol

I found an entry from elsewhere from 2004: Black Forest Guitars (Acworth, Ga) and mentions Jeff as well.

Congrat's!

Cool as chit, in mo.

I would approach (email, phone) established repair/luthier shops, in the 'Acworth, GA' area, and see if they could point me in a particular direction. I would be sure to let folks know I was looking for knowledge/history--and not looking for a 'price'. The music departments, at area universities, can be helpful if you can engage their interest.

Enjoy!

Here's an actual link (what a concept!) to a page claiming to have their address and phone number. Might be real, could be wrong. Can't hurt to try.
