AZLiberty, apparently my X30 will not be making it into a shipping video either. I received a notice this morning from UPS informing me that a shipping label had been created. My guitar did not show up in the most recent video and I don’t see them delaying shipping any further at this point. Anyway, pretty soon my wife and I will be able to share a cup of coffee with our pair of Emerald coffee mugs.

Simon, are you no longer at Emerald or are you simply posting as yourself instead of as a company representative?

Simon, if you’re originally from Emerald, would love to weigh in on the X30/McPherson Sable thread. Specifically there More than a are a few wolf note comments. Thanks!

Hi Simon,

I enjoyed your posts as an Emerald front-line rep... and I'm sure I'll enjoy them from you. Sorry to hear you aren't with Emerald any longer - you presented a good image for them.

Best wishes,
Jim

OP here...

Finally ( !) got the invoice for payment of the 2nd half of my amber X30 fan fret this morning! Quote from Kevin: "Your beautiful guitar is in our finishing luthiers hands today and will be ready for shipping next week."

Might make a shipping video yet!

And as RP will no doubt say, "Now the fun begins..."

Phil

You're less than two weeks away from getting your mug! A fan fret X30 with a 27 inch low E string and 25 1/2 inch high E string; I'm impressed and also a little jealous. I'd be more jealous if I hadn't received my new X30 in blue carbon with abalone fretboard dot markers just two days ago. (And BTW, no wolf tones anywhere!)

That's awesome news! I wonder if the lack of a wood veneer makes any difference. Best of luck with it!
