Default Al Petteway playing my West Coast OM

Since most of the guitar shows seems to not be happening a lot of us builders probably have spec guitars with no where to go. My specs are no exception to this rule, so I’m putting one up in the market place for sale. You can go there to have a look at pricing etc. But for your listening pleasure go here to listen and see Al Petteway playing my West Coast version of an OM.

That is a beautiful instrument, John! Just gorgeous work! And Al's playing definitely makes it shine!

Thanks very much. I really like the way Al goes to another place when he plays.

Thanks Nemoman. Don’t you love the way Al gets zoned in when he is just playing from his creative self.

Wow, another knockout John. Beautiful guitar, and beautiful tone. I recognize the distinctive sound from my two JK's. And of course...I could listen to Al Petteway all day. Maybe he could demo all your guitars?

You use the advanced editor and hit the "Youtube" tag icon. This will result in

{YOUTUBE}{/YOUTUBE} but with the square brackets

Then I do this..
{YOUTUBE}
{/YOUTUBE} to separate the tags.

Then I paste the youtube link after the first tag:
{YOUTUBE}https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyVj...ature=youtu.be
{/YOUTUBE}

Then I cut the youtube link to the part that is needed, after the = and before the & (if it has it in the link. Sometimes it isn't there.)

And then pull the last youtube tag behind the link using the backspace key

Thanks Jamie. That’s interesting that you can pick up a distinctive sound. I must be doing something consistently however well. I to enjoy Al’s playing and in fact he demonstrated three other guitars for me and i will drag them out after a week or so. Don’t want to flood the band with.

Smile Nice!!!

JK +AP = NICE STUFF INDEED

if anyone wants an earful of John's praises just rattle my cage.

I was up at 4am, playing my new JK Custom BIG GUN. I like to play LOUD and John's big Customs for me will keep on getting louder and FATTER until it literally hurts my ears, which was a huge help with my unplugged gigs. Back when I had any... SIGH.

But last night I was playing very softly and the wonderful tone was just mesmerizing. Huge tone at minimal volume. Amazing response from a VERY lightly played JUMBO. 16.75" across the Lower Bout! Also Very COMFY with its three bevels and Manzer wedge!

I am so looking forward to hearing more from Al Pettiway on John's guitars!

Carry On and have FUN

Paul
